6:35 Emily Gardner, from the BTA, spoke about bike boulevards. Apparently SE Portland has quite a few Bike Boulevards, and now they are looking to make some streets in NE/N Portland bike boulevards. On the fast track are Rodney and Skidmore. She'll be back soon with updates...

7:05 Officer Brian Sims spoke...had stats on offenses that took place in the King Neighborhood for July '07, '06, '97...

Then he spoke on some trouble spots around the neighborhood and things the police are doing to work on them.

Also, gave information that the district is getting reorganized. NE Precinct is gaining Hollywood District, but loosing Jantzen Beach: I-5 to 205, 84 to River; 7 - 14 officers per/shift

7:30 Then some folks spoke about a nuisance house @ 536 NE Failing St. Spoke about what they've been doing, trying to get neighbors involved; asked Officer Sims for advice...
